How is the shoot system of different plants formed?

The shoot system is formed inside the seed of the plant. In the embryo, the root and the shoot are clearly distinguishable. The shoot can consist of a stem, bud and leaf, or only a stem and bud. After germination, the plant develops actively. The germ begins to grow. Plant cells begin to actively divide. New leaves and buds are formed. The stem increases in size. This growth takes quite a bit of time, since cells divide intensively, and the life cycle of many plants is shorter than that of animal organisms.
