The length of the middle finger is approximately 7.5-8 cm in women and 8.5-9 cm in men. The average height of a woman is 166 cm, of a man – 178 cm. Dividing these 2 numbers by the average length of the middle finger and rounding up we get 20. Thus, the length of a person’s body is on average 20 times the length of the middle finger.
