How much does an elephant weigh and where does it live?

There are three main types of elephants. The bush elephant weighs 6,000 kg and lives in the African savannahs. The Asian elephant weighs 4,000 kg and lives in India. The forest elephant – the smallest – weighs 2,700 kg and lives in African forests.
