How old is Islam?

Islam is the youngest religion. It appeared in the 7th century in the city of Mecca (Saudi Arabia), now this city is the largest pilgrimage site for Muslims. The main preacher of Islam is Muhammad, who declared himself to the prophets and began to preach this religion, he was illiterate and therefore he was perceived as a reflection of Allah, the latter through his clean head carried the truth to the masses. From Mecca Islam moved to Medina and from there it began to spread throughout the world. Today there are approximately 1.8 billion followers.
