In the 7-8 centuries, it was possible to complete the unification of Arabia, the annexation of many territories took place. In the occupied and expanded territories, a policy of Islamization was carried out. Anyone who was adherent of another religion, which was not prohibited, was subject to an additional tax. Due to the conquests, the elite enriched, its representatives became contenders for the supreme power, due to which the internal political struggle intensified.
