How the processes of transcription and translation are interrelated. How an amino acid is encoded in the genetic code

1. Transcription is associated with translation by the fact that both are stages of protein biosynthesis. The amino acid sequence in the protein molecule is encoded in the DNA of the nucleus, while the formation of the protein occurs on the ribosomes of the cytoplasm. Information from DNA is transferred to the ribosome with the help of the i-RNA molecule, synthesized on the DNA molecule – transcription. This information with i-RNA is converted into an amino acid sequence on the ribosome – translation.
2. Using a triplet – a combination of three consecutive nucleotides.
