How to calculate the temperature amplitude?

The temperature amplitude is calculated by the difference between the average monthly temperatures. The smaller one is subtracted from the maximum average. For example: t * in summer = + 45, and in winter = – 20, hence the amplitude = 45 – (- 20) = 75 *
