How to determine the direction of the magnetic line using the magnetic arrow?

Magnetic lines have no beginning or end – they are closed. Part of each line runs inside the magnet body, and part outside it. In addition to the shape, the direction is also attributed to the magnetic lines: it is believed that outside the magnet they are directed from N to S (from the north pole to the south).
The magnetic compass needle can help determine the direction of the magnetic lines. It always points to the south pole with its north end, that is, to the pole where the lines enter. Doubt may arise, because everyone knows that the compass points to the north. There is no contradiction here. If we consider the Earth as a magnet, then its south pole is located approximately where the geographic north pole is.
