How to determine the division value of a stopwatch?

To determine the division price of any measuring device, including a stopwatch, you need to find on the scale of the device the two nearest scale values indicated by numbers, subtract the smaller from the larger one, and then divide by the number of divisions between these values on the scale. Example for a stopwatch: adjacent scale values with numbers – 30 and 40, between them 10 divisions. Division value = (40-30) / 10 = 1 second. If there are 20 divisions, then (40-30) /20=0.5 seconds.
