| How to find the area of a parallelogram if one side is 2 m, and the other is 3 m, and the angle between them is 30 degrees?
Parallelogram is a quadrangle in which opposite sides are parallel and equal to each other:
AB = CD;
BC = AD.
To find the area of a parallelogram, you need to multiply the length of one of its sides by the length of the second and by the sine of the angle between them:
S = AB · BC · sin B;
sin 30º = 1/2;
S = 2 3 1/2 = 3 m2.
Answer: the parallelogram area is 3 m2.
