How to find the area of a triangle, rectangular side lengths 6cm, 4cm, 4cm.

In order to calculate the area of a triangle, if the lengths of the three sides of a given triangle are known, you can use Heron’s formula:
S = √ (p * (p – a) * (p – b) * (p – c)),
where a, b and c are the lengths of the sides of this triangle, and p is half the sum of the lengths of all sides of this triangle.
In this triangle, a = 6 cm, b = 4 cm, c = 4 cm, p = (6 + 4 + 4) / 2 = (10 + 4) / 2 = 14/2 = 7 cm, therefore, the area of the triangle is:
√ (14 * 6 * 4 * 4) = 4 * √ (14 * 6) = 8 * √ (7 * 3) = 8√21 cm ^ 2.
Answer: 8√21 cm ^ 2.
