It is required to determine e (Volt) – electromotive force (EMF).
To determine the electromotive force, you must use the following formula (Ohm’s law):
I = e / R, from here we find:
e = I * R = 32 * 0.5 = 16 Volts.
Answer: the electromotive force is 16 volts.
