How to save water at home?

Water is the natural wealth of our country. In Russia, fortunately, there are enough fresh rivers and lakes, we do not yet experience a shortage of drinking water. But this is for now! Scientists say that the day is not far off when we will also face the problem of lack of fresh water. Therefore, it is very important not only to monitor the condition of our waterways, to maintain them in an ecologically clean state, to prevent them from crushing, but also to remember about the careful attitude to water in everyday life. At home, our family tries to save water, we have meters, so we do not allow ourselves to turn on the tap, leave and forget about it. No wonder the state obliged the population to install these devices, this is the right decision. This stimulates citizens to save money. You also need to monitor the condition of your plumbing. Even through the smallest trickle of water with a faulty tap, more than one cubic meter of precious liquid flows out per day. In general, it seems to me that the Russian people, having huge natural reserves of everything they can, are not particularly prone to frugality. Of course, I am not calling for a model of behavior, for example, of the Germans. Who are simply fixated on saving. Having poured one bathroom, dad, mom, children are washed in it, then the dog is washed with the same water, and you can also wash the car with the remains. It looks ridiculous for a Russian person. Yes, of course, this is not acceptable for us, but it is also unacceptable to pour tons of the purest water into the sewer system. Therefore, each of us needs to remember about frugality, but approach this rationally and prudently.
