How was it taught in Egyptian schools?

In Egyptian schools, they taught literacy, numeracy and writing. The younger classes (let’s call them that) wrote on shards of broken dishes, while the older classes wrote on papyrus. This is due to the fact that papyrus was expensive. After the children learned to read, count and write, they were taught astronomy, history, geography and mathematics. Also, after graduating from school, they had some exams that all students had to take.
