How was the republic proclaimed in France? Why did France start wars with European countries?

The republic was proclaimed in France on September 21, 1792, one day after the victory of the French army over Prussia at Valmy. The proclamation of the republic was preceded by the abolition of the feudal system and the imprisonment of King Louis the Sixteenth. As a result of the processes in France in 1791, Austria and Prussia signed an alliance treaty to fight against the French Revolution and its supporters. The main goal was the restoration of the monarchy and a clear example of the wrong path for other states. In total, the revolutionary wars lasted 10 years. They ended in 1802 with the Peace of Amiens.
