How were the Cortes in Italy arranged?

The Cortes in Italy consisted of people from three estates. They were subdivided into three chambers. The first chamber consisted of representatives of the clergy, while the other consisted exclusively of nobles, the third one of the authorized representatives of the peasants and townspeople.
