How were the interests of the landowners ensured during the emancipation of the peasants?

After the abolition of serfdom, the peasants had to make redemption payments. Thus, a significant part of the peasants had to work off the corvee, because they did not have the opportunity to make the redemption payment. It can be said that the peasant reform was incomplete for this and other reasons. So despite the fact that serfdom was abolished, nevertheless, its orders were able to hold out for a certain period of time.
