Answer: the work will not change in any way.

b) (a * 8) * (b / 2) = a * b * 8/2 = a * b * 4;

Answer: the work will quadruple.

c) (a / 12) * (b / 3) = a * b / (12 * 3) = a * b / 36;

Answer: the work will decrease 36 times.
