Human dwelling in the late Middle Ages.

During this period of time, the houses of ordinary people did not differ much from those that were built in earlier times. Most of the houses were built of wood. Houses were covered with clay and covered with straw on top. The rich (rich artisans, traders, etc.) built themselves stone houses, which were covered with tiles on top. Large feudal lords built large mansions / estates or even castles for themselves.
