Aromorphoses of chordates:
1) the appearance of a notochord, which serves as an internal axial skeleton;
2) the emergence of a neural tube with a growing anterior compartment, from which the brain is formed as a result;
3) the appearance of the heart, which is located on the abdominal part of the body, which accelerated the blood flow;
4) the formation of gill slits in the pharynx, resulting in increased oxygen consumption by the body.
