Identify the ocean with the most coral islands, why?

Due to the complex structure of the earth’s crust in the equatorial and tropical latitudes of the Pacific Ocean, there are many underwater rocks and extinct volcanoes. Their surface is illuminated by the sun, it is light and warm here. These conditions are ideal for coral polyps. They settle on underwater rises, die off, over time, their calcareous skeletons come out of the water. Centuries pass before a reef or atoll is formed. The coral islands are flat, low-lying, with extremely poor soils, flora and fauna.
