Ideological reasons for the collapse of the USSR?

For many years a monopoly on the ideology of the communist party was introduced in the USSR. After the end of the repression, the communist ideology showed its inability to compete with liberal, socialist or conservative currents. By itself, this would not have caused the collapse of the state, since in many countries the ideology changed without the collapse of the country, but in addition to factors such as, for example, distrust of the government, the country collapsed.
