If the growing part of the root with the root cap is removed from the plant, what happens to the plant?

The root consists of several parts:
1) root cap
2) Division zone
3) Growth zone
4) suction zone
5) the zone of differentiation (these are the roots that extend from the main root).
They all play different roles. The role of the root cap is to protect the embryonic (merimastic) zone. Well, back to the question, when the root cap is removed, the plant will stop growing in growth…. and such plants usually do not survive in nature.
