m (solution) = m (H2O) + m (salt) = 200 + 60 = 260 g;
2.Calculate the mass fraction of salt in the proposed solution:
w (salt) = m (salt): m (solution) = 60: 260 = 0.2308 or 23.08%.
Answer: 23.08%.
