In a parallelogram, the heights are 12m and 18m, and one of the sides is 30m. Find the other side. How many solutions does the problem have?

Determine the area of the base relative to two different heights of the parallelogram.

S = CD * BK = 30 * 18 = 540 m2.

S = AD * BK = AD * 12.

Then:

AD * 12 = 540.

AD = 540/12 = 45 m.
