In a rectangular parallelepiped, the length is 25 meters, it is 5 times the width and the height of the parallelepiped is 1 meter less than the width. Find its volume.
Find the width of the rectangular parallelepiped:
25/5 = 5 meters.
Find the height of the rectangular parallelepiped:
5 – 1 = 4 meters.
Now we find the volume as the product of length and width and height:
25 * 5 * 4 = 500 cubic meters.
