We calculate the height of the pyramid from the following formula:
V = ⅓ Sh, where
h – the height of the pyramid,
V is the volume of the pyramid,
S is the base area.
Substitute the values from the condition into the formula:
5 = 2h / 3;
2h = 5 x 3;
2h = 15;
h = 15/2;
h = 7.5.
The height of the pyramid is 7.5.
