Because by condition СD – height, then <CDA = <CDB = 90 (degrees) – by definition of height.
Consider triangles ADC and ACB:
1) <CDA = <ACB = 90 (degrees)
2) <A is the total angle
Then triangles ADC and ACB are similar in the first similarity feature (in two equal angles).
