X ^ + Y ^ = 1 or Y ^ = 1 – X ^
(5 – X) ^ + Y ^ = 24
(5 – X) ^ + 1 – X ^ = 24
25 – 10 * X + X ^ + 1 – X ^ = 24

X = 0.2
