Given: BAD-given triangle. BA = AD, AC-height, BC = 2 cm, AD = 3 cm.

Find: P of triangle BAD.

Solution: Consider treug. BAD. By condition, it is isosceles. Then treug. BAC and DAC are equal and their sides are equal. ВС = СD = 2 cm. BA = AD = 3 cm.

Find P: PBAD = BA + AD + BD = 3cm + 3cm + 2cm + 2cm = 10cm

Answer: 10cm.
