The sides of an isosceles triangle are equal by definition. Since the perimeter is the sum of all the sides of the figure, we calculate the sum of the lengths of the sides of the triangle:
42 – 10 = 32 (cm).
Determine what the side of the triangle is equal to:
32: 2 = 16 (cm).
