2. The base is x * 2 = 2x centimeters.
3. Lateral side x * 3 = 3x centimeters.
4. Let’s make an equation.
2x + 3x * 2 = 56;
8x = 56;
x = 56/8 = 7;
x = 7;
Answer: One side x * 2 = 7 * 2 = 14 centimeters. The other two are x * 3 = 7 * 3 = 21 centimeters.
