In a rhombus, the angles add up to 360 °. Opposite angles are equal. This means that the CDA angle is equal to the ABC angle and the BAD angle is equal to the BCD angle.

360 ° – (40 ° + 40 °) = 280 ° – the second pair of angles BAD and BCD
