| In parallelogram ABCD, the diagonals intersect at point E. Find the diagonals of the parallelogram if AE = 3dm, BE = 5dm.
By the property of a parallelogram, its diagonals, at a point from the intersection, are divided in half, therefore AE = CE = AC / 2, BE = DE = BD / 2.
Then AC = 2 * AE = 2 * 3 = 6 dm, BD = 2 * BE = 2 * 5 = 10 dm.
Answer: The diagonals of the parallelogram are 6 inches and 10 inches.
