In parallelogram ABCD, the perimeter is 52 cm. The angle C is 30 degrees, and the perpendicular to the line CD is 8 cm. Find the angles and sides of the parallelogram.
Since CD is perpendicular, the side of the parallelogram will be:
CD / sin (C) = 8: sin (30) = 16.
Denote by x – the side, we get the equation:
2 * (16 + x) = 52
16 + x = 26
x = 26 – 16 = 10 cm.
Answer: the sides of this parallelogram are 16 cm and 10 cm.
