| In parallelogram ANRT, bisector AK divides the opposite side into parts: NK = 3 cm, KR = 1 cm. Find the perimeter of parallelogram ANRT.
1. The bisector AK of the parallelogram АNRT cuts off the triangle АNK from it, which is
isosceles. Therefore, AN = NK = 3 centimeters.
2. NR = NK + RK = 3 + 1 = 4 centimeters.
3. The opposite sides of the parallelogram are equal. Therefore, AN = RT = 3 centimeters.
NR = AT = 4 centimeters.
4. The total length of all sides of the parallelogram (perimeter) AN + RT + NR + AT = 3 + 3 + 4 + 4
= 14 centimeters.
Answer: the total length of all sides of the parallelogram (perimeter) is 14 centimeters.
