In quadrilateral ABCD side AB is 15 cm less than BC side, AD side is 30 cm larger than CD side. What is the perimeter of this quadrilateral if AB = CD = 16 cm?

Let us find the length of the BC side of the given quadrangle ABCD.
According to the condition of the problem, side AB is 16 cm.It is also known that side AB is 15 cm less than side BC, therefore, side BC is 15 cm larger than side AB and the length of side BC is:
16 + 15 = 31 cm.
Find the length of the side AD of this quadrilateral ABCD.
According to the condition of the problem, the CD side is 16 cm. It is also known that the AD side is 30 cm larger than the CD side.Therefore, the length of the AD side is:
16 + 30 = 46 cm.
Knowing the lengths of all sides of the quadrilateral ABCD, we find the perimeter p of this quadrilateral:
p = | AB | + | BC | + | CD | + | AD | = 16 + 31 + 16 + 46 = 109 cm.

Answer: The perimeter of the quadrilateral ABCD is 109 cm.
