By hypothesis, we know that AC = 8 cm, BD = 10 cm.
We know that when two diagonals are known, then we find the area from them. The formula will be as follows: S = d1 * d2 / 2
Now we simply substitute the given values for us and we will find the area of the given rhombus. S = 10 * 8/2 = 80/2 = 40 centimeters squared.
