In the family, the husband has hypertrichosis, the wife suffers from hypertension, and the son has ichthyosis

In the family, the husband has hypertrichosis, the wife suffers from hypertension, and the son has ichthyosis and hypertrichosis. Explain the phenomenon from a genetic point of view, if it is known that in a person hypertension is inherited as an autosomal dominant trait, hypertrichosis refers to holandric recessive traits, and ichthyosis is a gonosomal recessive trait linked to the X chromosome.

A – hypertension, a – normal blood pressure.

YB – normal hair growth, – Yb – hypertrichosis (holandric – linked to the Y chromosome).

XC – healthy, Xc – ichthyosis.

Parent genotypes: aaXCYb, AаXCXc.

The son’s genotype is aaXcYb.

The son showed both diseases linked to sex chromosomes:

1) If a mother is a carrier of such a disease, then the probability that her son will be sick with it is 50%. He receives the X chromosome from her.

2) Diseases linked to the Y chromosome are always inherited by sons from fathers, because from them they get this chromosome.
