1. At what mark was the thermometer in the morning?

4 degrees of frost is -4 degrees.

2. Find the value of the temperature during the day.

-4 + 6 = 2.

3. Determine the value of the temperature in the evening.

2 – 3 = -1.

Answer. In the evening, the thermometer was at around -1 degrees.

The temperature value in the evening is expressed as a negative number.

The temperature value during the day is expressed as a positive number.
