In the parallelogram ABCD, the sides are 16 and 6 cm, the height drawn to the larger side is 4 cm, find the area of the parallelogram and the second height.
AB = CD = 6cm
BC = AD = 16 cm
BH = 4 cm (height drawn to the larger side)
BH1- height drawn to the smaller side)
Find the area: S = BH * AD = 16 * 4 = 64 cm ^ 2
Can also find area through other sides
S = BH1 * CD
64 = BH1 * 6
BH1 = 64/6 = 10 2/3 cm
