This means that the base angles BAD and CDA are equal.

Angle CDA = BDA + BDC = 24º + 70º = 94º.

BAD = CDA = 94º.

From triangle ABD, angle ABD = 180º – (BDA + BAD) = 180º – (24º + 94º) = 180º – 118º = 62º.
