In a right-angled triangle, the leg, opposite an angle of 30 °, is equal to half the hypotenuse.
Let’s use this property in our case. The leg CB lies opposite the angle A, the degree measure of which is 30 °, therefore we have:
CB = 1/2 AB
AB = 2 CB = 2 * 15 = 30 cm.
Answer: Side AB = 30 cm.
