Determine the angle at the vertex C of the right-angled triangle ABC. BAC = 180 – 90 – 60 = 30.
According to the condition, BK is perpendicular to the AC, therefore, the triangle AKB is rectangular, its hypotenuse AB, according to the condition, is 22 cm. The leg BK, triangle AKB lies opposite the angle 30, and is equal to half the length of the hypotenuse.
BK = AB / 2 = 22/2 = 11 cm.
Answer: BK = 11 cm.
