In a right-angled triangle ABC, angle A = 60 degrees, adjacent to the angle A, leg AC = 2√3, find the hypotenuse AB.
According to trigonometric ratios in a right-angled triangle, we will use the formula: cos60 = AC / AB;
(cos60 = 1/2)
cos60 = 2√3 / AB;
1/2 = 2√3 / AB;
AB = 2 * 2√3;
AB = 4√3 (cm);
