| Find the sin B of the triangle abc if the angle c is 90, cos A = 0.24.
We apply the formulas.
sin b = (opposite leg AC) / (hypotenuse AB);
cos a = (adjacent leg AC) / (hypotenuse AB);
Since cos a = sin b, then sin b = cos a = 0.24.
Answer: sin b = 0.24.
