Karl Linnaeus is a renowned natural scientist. His scientific achievements helped to develop many branches of biology and natural sciences in general. Biologists consider the main merit of Linnaeus to create the Binary (Binominal) nomenclature, according to which it was possible to systematize plants and animals.
