In what cell structures is ATP synthesis carried out?

The synthesis of ATP (adenosine triphosphate) occurs in specialized organelles of the mitochondrial cell.
Mitochondria: small rod-shaped bodies bounded on both sides by membranes.
On the walls of the cristae of the inner mitochondrial membrane, enzymes are located, with the help of which a high-energy substance – ATP is formed.
