In what cells is there a diploid set?

A double or diploid set of chromosomes contains all somatic cells: nerve, muscle, epithelial and blood cells (with the exception of erythrocytes, which lack a nucleus). Only the germ cells differ in the haploid set of chromosomes, since when the female and male germ cells merge, the ploidy of the cells of the new organism is restored.
