In what centuries did the Eastern Slavs populate the vast territory of Eastern Europe?

The ancient Slavs appeared on the territory of Eastern Europe as early as the 2nd century. In the 3-4th century, the Slavs had to share the lands of eastern Europe with the Germanic tribes of the Goths, but after the arrival of the Huns at the end of the 4th century, the Germans were pushed back. The most active phase of the settlement of the Slavs falls on the 5-8 century, then most of the Eastern European territories were inhabited by our ancestors.
